On July 20, 2019, the Norfolk Tides transformed their identity into the Norfolk Coffee for one game at Harbor Park. The Tides will wore special jerseys and hats on that night to help celebrate the region's emerging status as the East Coast Capital of Coffee. The Hampton Roads region is home to many coffee roasters and prominent coffee brands and the region's warehouses hold over 50 million pounds of coffee - enough to brew 2 billion cups of coffee.  Two specialty hats have been created for that night - hot coffee and iced coffee so fans can choose their favorite!
